Casale Refoli is an ancient Tuscan farmhouse

Casale Refoli is an ancient Tuscan farm traceable in the maps dated 1824 of the "Catasto Leopoldino" with the name of Podere Cetinaglia. The completely restored property maintains the shape, volumes and part of the original structures unchanged (see photo ruins of Cetinaglia), has become a welcoming and comfortable country residence. Since 2007 it offers hospitality and welcome to lovers of Tuscany, its countryside and its art treasures.

Casale Refoli offers only 5 completely independent apartments with kitchen for 2 to 6 people. Each apartment has a covered patio reserved for outdoor breakfast. The property is located in the open countryside near the area of the Berignone Natural Reserve in the middle of a marked hiking trail. Ideal for spending holidays in a typical Tuscan countryside.

Casale Refoli is distant in total 5 km from the village of Casole d'Elsa in the province of Siena - halfway between Florence and Siena - in practice, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the village with restaurants, shops, and all the most important services.
The property of Casale Refoli is accessed from a dirt road of about 2.0 km. This country road is not recommended for sports cars or cars that are too low. It is possible to have a look of some of our guests' cars as an example.

The interiors of Casale Refoli are comfortably equipped and well-finished. The floors are in "cotto" made by hand, ceilings in the traditional beams of oak, crafted wooden kitchens with marble shelves with all the furnishings. The hand-made mattresses are comfortable (double cm 200x170 and single cm 200x90-190x80). Bedroom wardrobes are old and restored by skilled craftsmen, some dining tables are valuable and recently restored. Each apartment has an exclusive external paved in "cotto" and with furniture for outdoor dining. Independent Heating LPG on consumption. Free Wi-Fi inside and outside. Some apartments have Ceiling Fans and Air Conditioning.

The swimming pool measures 16 x 6,2 mt. deep from 110 cm. to 220 cm. is reserved solely to Casale Refoli guests. Open from May 21st to October 7th.
The solarium with sunbeds and deck chairs will be assigned at the beginning of the holiday to a single family or family group and will always be used for the period booked.

Casale Refoli property with only 5 independent apartments

FRASSINO 4+2 people
Frassino is probably the best apartment of Casale Refoli. Its large living room with two bright entrances, has a large dining table for six comfortable seats. At Christmas or End of Year period families or groups of friends get together in the dining room where it's possible to add another table. The kitchen is separate room from the living room. Master bedroom has a private bathroom with shower. The second bathroom with shower is in the corridor. This apartment is equipped with Air Conditioning.

MELOGRANO 4 people
Melograno is a comfortable and rational apartment. Its peculiarity is to have a beautiful double bedroom with private bathroom. A second bedroom with two single beds that can be joined to form a large double bed. A second bathroom with a very spacious shower. Ideal for a family of 4, or two couples. Sofa bed in the living room for one extra person. The two bathrooms allow a comfortable and functional use of the apartment. Living room with fully equipped kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher). Laundry room and storage room. Melograno boasts the most spacious and comfortable covered patio of 35 sqm. This apartment is equipped with Ceiling Fans and Air Conditioning.

Finestrine is a wide apartment on the ground floor. Living room with a large, rustic dining table for six comfortable seats. The double bedroom collects a lot of success not only for its dimensions (can add a single bed) but also for the romantic atmosphere of its four windows. The door window of the second double bedroom opens also onto a the private patio. One large bathroom with shower. Apartment ideal for two couples or a family 4-5 people, or two couples. This apartment is equipped with Air Conditioning.

Roccaglia is a large and comfortable apartment on two levels. Ideal for a family with 2-3 children or 2 couples. The two bathrooms with shower allow a very comfortable and functional use. The patio of 26.55 square meters on the north side of the house, spacious and furnished to eat outside is cool and comfortable. Privacy and space all around will make a successful holiday.
